How do you address someone formally?

This is an advanced question. In Italian, to address someone formally, so a teacher or a boss generally, you speak to them in third person. So instead of "you" you speak to them in "he/she" form. For example: "How old are you?" / "Quanti hanni ha?" Ha is the third person of to have in present tense: I have/ You have/ He-She-It has. Io ho/ Tu Hai/ Lui-Lei ha.
