What exactly are Oxford tutors looking for?

More than anything they're looking for your keenness and ability to learn. In your interview they will likely ask you questions based on your preparatory material and your personal statement, but they aren't necessarily looking for right answers. Sometimes even if you provide a wrong answer, but realise your mistake and persevere in trying to find the right one, then they will choose you.
