'Religious language is meaningless'. Evaluate and discuss this statement.

Answer should demonstrate a coherent structure. Student should evaluate claims that disagree with their standpoint. Can include 'Logical positivists', verfication/falsification principle, A.J. Ayer. Should discuss ideas about God, faith, religion etc. Outline what meaningful language is, link this to whether relgious language holds meaning or not. May be an individual view but must be supported with examples, theorists, arguments, counter examples etc.
