What top tips would you give for the BMAT test?

The BMAT test is very demanding by medical and dental schools that use them as part of their admissions process. Effective preparation is vital to perform well and have a strong chance at getting those competitive interviews! Firstly, I would advise you start preparation at least 2 months in advance of the test date to ensure you have covered all the required syllabus, in particular for Section 2 'Scientific Knowledge and Applications' and also some writing practise for the essay in Section 3. Revision for Section 2 may be structured just like usual exam revision, potentially making a revision timetable to optimise the content covered in a short space of time. Following effective revision, practice papers should be answered under exam conditions to ensure you have a full for what the test will feel like on the day and also to get an idea of how you should manage your time for each section including how long to spend on each question.
