What is the most common word order in the Italian language?

Sentences in Italian are usually ordered according to the SVO (Subject - Verb - Object) structure. The English language also follows the same word order. Consequently, English sentences can easily be translated into Italian by simply substituting words with their equivalent translation. E.g. (ENG)I live in London (IT) Io vivo a LondraHowever, in Italian the subject is commonly omitted because it is already implied by the conjugation of the verb.E.g. (ENG) I am baking a cake (IT) (Io) sto cucinando una torta
