How to plan your personal statement

Firstly, ensure you have the relevant work experience in whatever field you are applying for. Make sure you do not add any work experience irrelevant to that field.Secondly make a list of all the skills required of a dentist/medical proffesional- This can be found on the GMC/GDC websiteThirdly, link all of the skills to different extracurricular activities you have. For example demonstrate you have the gained the skill of teamwork when participating on a hike for DofE.Make sure you also write down anything you do to help de-stress, or any talents/skills you have that will contribute to extracurricular activities at the University.
