Differentiate x^3+ x^2+2=y

This equals to dy/dx= 1/3 x2+1/3 x1This is because we divide by the power and then minus one from the powerSo it becomes x3-1/3 which can be simplified to 1/3 x2The 2 is differentiated to 0 because it is just a constant

Find the coordinates of the turning points of the curve y = 4/3 x^3 + 3x^2-4x+1

Curve C has equation x^2 - 3xy - 4y^2 + 64 = 0. a) find dy/dx in terms of x and y. b) find coordinates where dy/dx=0.

What is the difference between differentiation and integration, and why do we need Calculus at all?
