How is the future I tense formed?

The formation of the future I tense is incredibly consistent, which really only requires you to know the present tense conjugations of the verb 'werden'. These are 'ich werde', 'du wirst', 'er/sie/es wird', 'wir werden', 'ihr werdet', and 'Sie/sie werden'. Once you've got this first element down, the only thing left to do is to add on the infinitive/dictionary form of the main verb. Let's take 'spielen' for example, and we'll form it in the first person singular form. Firstly, take 'werden' and conjugate it in the present tense: 'ich werde'. Add on the infinitive of 'spielen' which is... well... 'spielen'. Put both components together and you're left with the future I first person singular conjugation of 'spielen': 'ich werde spielen'.
