How do I answer an LNAT essay question?

In the LNAT, you'll have a choice of two short essay questions, from which you pick one to answer. You'll only have 45 minutes to answer this essay, and don't worry if you don't feel like you know much about the field surrounding the question, or any facts or figures. The examiners are not looking for specific knowledge about a topic; they're looking for your ability to create a convincing argument. Having said that, if there's a question that you do know a bit about, or one that looks particularly interesting, pick that one!Unlike in many GCSE and A-Level essay-writing subjects, which require you to answer in the following format:a) Paragraph 1 (list of arguments in favour of a statement)b) Paragraph 2 (list of arguments against the statement)c) Concluding paragraph showing which argument you supportthe LNAT is different. In the LNAT essay, you should pick a point of view (either for or against ) from the start and it's important to mention which side you're on in the introduction and continue this throughout. Think of three reasons why you agree or disagree with the statement/ question in the title and use these as your three key arguments and paragraphs to guide you through. With each argument and paragraph, try to quickly introduce a counter-argument and explain briefly why you do not support this point of view. If you run out of time and can't write about all three, don't worry! Two strong arguments are just as good! Examples of an LNAT essay question: Should prisoners be given the right to vote? A parent should never have the right to choose and influence their child's religion. Do you agree or disagree?
