Make x the subject of the formula: 3(2x-y)=ax-4

Expand the brackets out first6x-3y=ax-4Now, get all the x's on one side6x-ax=3y-4and now factorise the side with the x's as we want to isolate xx(6-a)=3y-4and now divide both sides by (6-a)x=(3y-4)/(6-a)
