How do I know what article this noun takes?

Most of the articles in German you have to learn by heart. However, there are a few word endings that can help us determine the article, e.g. -ung <---- when a noun ends with "ung", then you know its article is "die", or -chen <--- when the word ends with "chen" you know its article is "das".
