How should I prepare for my Oxford interview?

The key to preparation is to consume as much and as varied information as possible in the areas discussed in one’s personal statement. Very often tutors will rely on the personal statement as a starting point for interview questions, so it is important to be well informed. They are looking for intellectual curiosity, which means that topics off the beaten track are likely to be well received. However, it is always best to be honest about the limits of one’s research. Pretending to know something will almost certainly be found out, which never looks good.
