make into a cartesian equation= x=ln(t+3) y= 1/t+5

e^x= t+3 t= e^x -3therefore y= 1/e^x-3+5y= 1/e^x+2

I don't understand why the function "f(x)=x^2 for all real values of x" has no inverse. Isn't sqrt(x) the inverse?
