Simplify the following expression: ( (x^5) / (x^2) ) ^ 4

For this question it is key to remember the indices laws. The ones you need to recall for this question are: xa / xb = xa - b, and (xa)b = xa * b.
Using these laws, we can simplify the expression in question: ( x5 / x2 ) 4 = ( x3 ) 4 = x12. And so the solution is x12.
