Expand the following quadratic (x+3)(2x-2)

When expanding quadratics, the ‘smiley face’ method is the easiest one to follow. Do each term individually. The lines you draw between the terms will resemble a smiley face. Ensure that there are 2 lines from each term at the end of the exercise. Multiply the 2 terms together that are linked by a line. The resulting terms should be as follows: 2x2 - 2x + 6x - 6From here you can simplify the equation to give: 2x2 + 4x - 6
