How should I organise the structure of a sentence when certain conjunctions or phrases are involved?

In German, there are two main groups of conjunctions; co-ordinating and subordinating.Co-ordinating conjunctions:Do not affect the word order or position of the verb in a sentence. These are limited to a relatively small group including: und, aber, denn, oder, sondern, beziehungsweise, doch, jedoch and allein.Subordinating conjunctions:Do affect the word order and positioning of the verb.These conjunctions send the verb to the very end of the sentence as though they are unpleasant (or 'vile') and can therefore be remembered as the 'vile' (weil) group due to their attitude towards the verbs and as one of the main conjunctions 'weil' affects verbs in this way.This includes: weil, dass, wenn, wann, ob, obwohl, bis, als, seit/seitdem, sobald, da, um...zu. etc.Velcro Verb Phrases:there is another group of words and phrases which affect the word order in a German sentence. 'Velcro's' are the words/phrases which attract or stick to the verb (the same way velcro attaches to fabrics), meaning that the verb comes immediately after the word or phrase as the 'second idea' of the sentence.This includes conjunctions which are not in the groups listed above and time phrases, for example:Am Montag gehe ich...Dieses Jahr werde ich...
