What is a 'nomothetic approach’? Suggest one limitation of a nomothetic approach. (2 marks)

A nomothetic approach is based on studying a sample in order to generate general laws or formulate principles of behaviour. A limitation of this approach is that it's quantitative which means in depth research on individual cases, can not be conducted.
