When can we use demonstrative pronouns?

When we want to emphasise or distinguish something:- We can choose something specific out of a group with dieser/diese/dieses and jener/jene/jenes e.g.: Welches Thema möchtest du auswählen? Dieses.-We can particularly emphasise something with derjenige/diejenige(n) or derselbe/dieselbe/dasselbe, e.g.: Hast du einen neuen Job? Nein, es ist derselbe wie neulich.
