How to "study" A-level Maths, not just learn?

To make you an A* student in Maths and Further Maths, the main technique is to sort everything by methods and knowledge. I spent 3 weekends catching up from knowing nothing to A* by my methods and I will never forget it, because I'm study it, not learn it.
