As ever, GCSEs and A Levels will take place over the Summer Term with results delivered in August. The dates below are accurate as of January 2025, if anything changes, we’ll keep this list up-to-date.

When do GCSEs start and finish in 2025?
GCSEs start the week commencing Monday 5th May and finish on Friday 20th June.
These dates might change closer to the time depending on the exam boards, we’ll keep this page up to date with any changes.

When is GCSE results day 2025?
GCSE results day will fall on Thursday 21st August 2025, a date you’ll be counting down to come summer.
When do A levels start and finish in 2025?
This year’s A levels start on Monday 12th May and finish on Tuesday 24th June 2025.

When is A level results day 2025?
A level results day will fall on Thursday 14th August, so make sure you plan any holidays around this date.
When are GCSE resit results 2025?
If you took GCSE resits last term, you’ll get your results on the 9th January 2025.
