Within the systems life cycle, describe what events might take place in the Analysis stage.

The analysis stage of the systems life cycle is the stage in which a specification for a new system is created. In order to create this specification a range of sources may be considered including a questionnaire given to users of the system, interviews with current users and making notes about how the system is used through observations. The idea is to take the information gathered from the users so as to best understand how the new system will need to work. The final stage of the analysis is a feasibility study which will assess whether such a system will be financially and commercially viable before any design or development work is begun.
