a typical question would be a setof parametric equations y(t) and x(t), asking you to find dy/dx and then the tangent/normal to the curve at a certain point (ie t = 2)

this question is a great example as we have many different aspects of a level maths workng together into one.initialy you will use use chain rule to find dy/dx = dy/du * du/dx.then you will either keep the value of this for your tangent value or inverse for your normal value., then subbing in the t value to get a numerical value to use in the equation of a line.you will then find your x and y values for the given t value.combine these elements into the y=mx+c equation or (y-y1)=m(x-x1)and you may be asked to rearrange to ax + by + c = 0

How do you integrate the natural logarithm?

Find the equation of the tangent to the curve y=x^2+5x+2 at the point where x=5

Find the area enclosed between the curves y = f(x) and y = g(x)

The equation of curve C is 3x^2 + xy + y^2 - 4x - 6y + 7 = 0. Use implicit differentiation to find dy/dx in terms of x and y.
