What is the integral of 2x^5 - 1/4x^3 - 5

Integrating is essentially the opposite of differentiating.xn --> xn+1 We add 1 to the power and re-introduce variables where they have been eliminated potentially k --> kxWe must also take into account that when differeniating we mulitply the term by the power. So when integrating we must do the reverse of this and instead we divide through. One last thing to note is that terms that could have previously been in the equation that were elininated through differentiation e.g. 5 differentiated --> 0. To make up for this uncertainity we include a new variable (C).
