How should I go about solving a quadratic equation?

There are more ways how to solve such equation:You can use the quadratic formula after rearranging the equation into the standard form. That is the safest way because you just learn the formula and use it over and over again.Another very quick way is to factorise it. This is a very quick and efficient method, however, it is not always possible to do with every single quadratic equation. It is always worth trying though. Not very much liked method is called completing the square. The advantage of this is that it always works and it also gives you information about the stationary point of a parabola.Last but not least is the graphing method. Just plot some points and connect the dots. At the points where the parabola intersects the x-axis you have the roots you are looking for.

Why do we have to add the +c when integrating a function

The graph above shows the line y = 3*x^2. Find the area beneath the graph from y = 0 to y = 5.

Two particles, A and B, are moving directly towards each other on a straight line with speeds of 6 m/s and 8 m/s respectively. The mass of A is 3 kg, and the mass of B is 2 kg. They collide to form a single particle of speed "v" m/s. Find v.

differentiate y=(3x)/(x^2+6)
