How do you structure a GCSE English answer?

In English literature, an answer must be structured in a specific manner. The best way to do this is use the PEE method. This is point, evidence and explanation. If the question asks about how a certain theme is explored in a book, each paragraph should contain one point. The evidence you use can be a quote directly from the book or poem, which directly shows the theme and it’s uses. The explanation can then be used as your way of showing your thought process as to why you think that this part of the book explores that theme. One has to be concise in gcse english literature, as it is more about expressing 4-5 points in an essay as well as explaining it well to get the maximum marks.
