Ma grand-mère a les cheveux gris et courts.The adjectives agree with the feature as oppose to the person when describing appearance; hair colour, eye colour etc. Therefore both 'gris' and 'court' become plural and remain masculine: gris (no change in the plural masculine) + courts (adds an s for plurality).
