How do i prepare for a medical school interview?

Firstly familiarise yourself with the setup of the interview you have ahead of you, whether it is a panel or MMI interview. Next you must read around the 4 pillars of medical ethics.A few classic questions that instantly raise red flags in med school interviews are questions such as "What will you do if you're unsuccessful into getting into medicine?". The way to answer this is to convey that you will relentlessly try again and again and not give up, do not say that you will instead apply for nursing or any other job, as this shows you are not determined and committed
Make sure to dress smartly, and most of all, do not be nervous. Think of your interview as a 'chat', put yourself in a good mood, stay away from being on your phone and socialise! It's a very good way of opening up and getting used to talking as your interview will most likely be in the morning. If you have an MMI interview, avoid silences! Practice talking for 5 minutes at a time about anything. The communication stations require you to display certain communication skills, such as speaking clearly, concisely and methodically, so practicing talking is very important!
