Have you been following any recent advances in medicine/dentistry? Technological or otherwise?

This is quite a common question to be asked in medicine or dentistry interviews. Try to keep up with events and news surrounding medicine/dentistry, you don't have to talk about everything but having one or two things in mind will really help. Reading around a subject that fascinates you, e.g. cancer research and developments in that field, will show that you're not just going into medicine/dentistry for the prestige or pay, but that you're genuinely interested and will enjoy learning and practicing whichever field you end up in.
