What is the solution to the inequality shown? 3m + 5 > 2 (m-7)

So the first thing we would do is expand the right side: so multiply everything in the bracket by 2 to open it up -so it would become 2m - 14.3m + 5 > 2m -14Then we move all the like terms to one side (numbers to one side, and letters to the other)so if we make all of the 'm' terms on the left side, we would do 3m - 2m = 1mSo now the equation would look like m + 5 > -14 now we move the '5' to the right, and to do this we must subtract it from the -14, so -14 -5 = -19m > -19 .m is therefore greater than -19.
