How do we form the future tense in French?

The future tense is formed of three key parts: The person, the stem, and the appropriate ending. The Person: This is obviously based on the person/type of person that we are referencing (Je/Tu/Il/Elle/On/Nous/Vous/Ils/Elles)The Stem: For the most part, the stem consists of the infinitive verb (ie Regarder, Sortir etc). However, there are four exceptions to this, where we use something other than the infinitive verb:Faire: The stem is 'fer-'Aller: The stem is 'ir-'être - The stem is 'ser-'Avoir - The stem is 'aur-'The appropriate ending: The endings used are simply the conjugations of avoir in the present tense that match up to the person used - the only exceptions being for nous and vous, where we use -ons and -ez, rather than allons and allez respectively (ai/as/a/(av)ons/(all)ez/ont)Examples:Je ferai (Je = the person, fer = the stem, ai = ending) I will do Nous regarderons (Nous = the person, regarder = the stem, ons = ending) We will watch
