Is there a primary conviction in the ideology of conservatism?

When one is in assessment of this question, it is pivotal to first acknowledge key words. In this instance one should consider the term, ‘primary’. The nature of this question is to make aware of any key motives in the beliefs of ideological conservatives. One seeks not to make a bouquet of beliefs, but merely to identify two to three different convictions established in conservative ideology. Thereby one must further draw contrasts between attractive ideas, and to identify, if a possible primary belief exists in conservatism. It is not the nature of the question to make one believe there is such an answer as yes, but to make one ponder, question, and philosophically ascertain what can be, or is. A question such as this can be approached in an objective manner, or subjective tone. It is entirely to the requirements of the examined. My purpose is not to provide an answer, but to make oneself think beyond a comprehension. And in such an address, will learn to conquer oneself.
