What's the difference between a eukaryotic cell and a prokaryotic cell?

Eukaryotes have a plasma membrane, nucleus, nuclear membrane, nucleolus, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, mitochondria, lysosomes, peroxisomes.

Prokaryotes do not have a nucleus, nuclear membrane and nucleolus, endoplasmic reticulum or mitochondria. Prokaryotes have no membrane-bound organelles. They do often have a flagellum, plasmid and cell wall.
