How do I expand double brackets?

Use the moon method.

E.g. (x+1)(x+2)

  1. multiply x with x

  2. multiply x with 2

  3. mutiply 1 with x

  4. multiply 1 with 2

If you draw this out it will look like a moon shape.

  1. now put the like terms together
