A circular ice rink has a diameter of 60 meters. Calculate the area of the ice rink in terms of π in meters

Area of a cirlce = π x r^2

The radius (r) = the diameter / 2

So, r = 60/2 = 30

Therefore, the area of the ice rink = π x 30^2 = 900π
