Differentiate with respect to x: 4(x^3) + 2x

d/dx(4x3 + 2x) =  d/dx (4x3) + d/dx(2x)

                       = 4(3x2) + x

                       = 12x2 + x

Find the an expression for dy/dx of the function y=(4x+1)ln(3x+1) and the gradient at the point x=1.

A curve C has the equation y=5sin3x + 2cos3x, find the equation of the tangent to the curve at the point (0,2)

What is the equation of the tangent to the circle (x-5)^2+(y-3)^2=9 at the points of intersection of the circle with the line 2x-y-1=0

Solve 7x – 9 = 3x + 2
