Contrast facilitated diffusion and active transport

Since the key word is contrast infomation about both facilitated diffusion and active transport is needed.

Facilitated diffusion does not require ATP whereas active transport does require ATP

Facilitated diffusion involves channel or carrier proteins whereas active transport only involves carriert proteins.

Facilitated dffusion happens down a concentration gradient whereas active transport can occur against a concentration gradient.
