Why did support for the Nazi Party increase in Germany between 1930 and 1932

Firstly, I would discuss the various factors to consider with my student. I would go through all possible points of discussion, and then together we would decide on the three main factors. I would then discuss these points in depth, discussing key arguments and facts. This would give the student an in-depth essay plan.I believe the three main factors to consider would be the Wall Street Crash of 1929, fear of communism (particularly after the Spartakist Uprising of 1919), Nazi propaganda. Fear of communism led to increased support for the Nazi Party because many middle class Germans and businessmen were afraid of this political minority. In opposition, many provided the Nazi Party with financial support in the hope of successfully countering communism in Germany. Nazi propaganda was also significant as it persuaded the German nation that Hitler was their saviour from the Treaty of Versailles. Hitler's great oratorial skills encouraged members of the German public to rally behind him and his Party. However, the main reason for increased support was due to the Wall Street Crash, as this caused mass unemployment and resentment towards the western powers who had demanded reparations from Germany and caused the country's economic downfall. This led many Germans to support the Nazi Party, which promised to restore Germany's greatness.
