There are many differences between animal and plant cells, these include:1) Plant cells have a cell wall, animal cells do not2) Only plant cells have chloroplasts- these contain chlorophyll that helps in light energy capture during photosynthesis3) Only plant cells contain a vacuole- a compartment filled with water to help keep the plant cell turgid (swollen)
