How do i structure my essays efficiently

The easiest way to structure and History Essay is a short snappy introduction that grabs the attention of the examiner. The aim should be to outline the key points you are going to talk about in the essay.
The best way to achieve this is by breaking down the question. For example:‘Russian society was transformed during the reigns of Alexander II and Alexander III.’
Focus in on the words in the question for example: SOCIETY and TRANSFORMED are the Key words here: the rest are just filling in the blanks.
Society refers to the day to day life of the people of Russia, it would be affected by Politics, Economics, Religion, War. The question here is asking what has Changed, whether anything has? is there continuity, similarities, differences, consequence?
Therefore, i would answer the question by splitting my essay into 3 key paragraphs, talk about changes in economics and why it affected society, and vice versa for politics and religion for example.
It is always significant when writing and essay to constantly be putting sub conclusions at the end of each paragraph, so that you stay focused to what the question is asking.
