Describe the process of DNA transcription:

The DNA double helix unravels as helicase breaks the hydrogen bonds between base pairs. RNA polymerase binds to the promoter region on the DNA strand. The RNA polymerase transcribes the DNA coding strand by bringing free RNA nucleotides to bind. The complementary nucleotides bind with phosphodiester bonds to produce an RNA molecule. The DNA-RNA hydrogen bonds break and the newly synthesised RNA strand is released. The RNA then may experience more processing in the nucleus such as splicing before leaving the nucleus via nuclear pores into the cytoplasm for DNA translation.
