Expand (2x + 3)(x - 1)

everything in the first bracket should be multiplied by everything in the second individually. Then you should combine common factors to find the final answer.Starting with the first part of the 1st bracket (2x) you get => 2x2 -2xThen look at the second part of the second bracket (+3) you get => +3x - 3Finally combine common factors to get answer= 2x² - 2x + 3x - 3= 2x² + x - 3
