solve this equation x^2 -2x=-1

to first think about solving this equation you need to add 1 to both sides producing the equation x^2-2x+1=0 you then need to factorise this equation as it is a quadratic equation (x-1)(x-1) =0 for this to equal 0 one of the x values need to make the bracket equal 0 therefore we can say that x-1=0 which means that x=1 therefore the final answer is x=1
