Solve 8x+ 9 > 1 + 4x

8x + 9 > 1 + 4x . Bring all x values to the Left hand side by subtracting 4x from each side. 8x -4x +9 >1 = 4x +9 >1 Bring all numbers to the right hand side by subtracting 9 from each side 4x > 1-9 = 4x>-8 Divide both sides by 4 to get a value for x. x>-8/4 = x>-2
