Expand the following expression: (2x+3)(x+1)

In order to answer this question, we will follow the FOIL procedure. First, Outter, Inner, Last. Using the 'F' we will multiply the first 2 numbers of each bracket. In most cases, these 2 variables will have an x with them. Then using the 'O' we will multiply the 2 outside numbers of the two brackets. Next we will use the 'I' to multiply the two inside numbers together. After we will use the 'L' to multiply out the last 2 numbers, which are usually constants. We will then add all the different products, and simplify the expression to get the answer.
