Solve 6x – 5 = 2x + 13

6x - 5 = 2x + 13 (+5) -> 6x - 5 + 5 = 2x + 13 +5 ------> 6x = 2x + 18 (-2x) -> 6x - 2x = 2x - 2x + 18 ----------> 4x = 18 (divide 4) -> 4x/4 = 18/4 ---------> x=4.5 -------------------> 6(4.5) -5 = 2(4.5) + 13 ->27 - 5 = 9 + 13 --->22 = 22
