How to use articles in spanish?

A lot of the time, the inclusion or omission of a definite article in Spanish matches up with the English translation.
For example, pasame EL arrozpass me THE rice
It can be used to talk about:• Things in general• days of the week• Body parts• Clothing
articles can either be feminine (La/las) or masculine (El/Los)And you can learn how to use them by applying a little trick.if the noun ends in "A" its feminine therefore, you use La for example, La camisA (The t-shirt)y it ends in anything else like a letter then it is masculine therefore we use "El" for example, El soL (The sun)
