Using your knowledge that tan(x) = sin(x) / cos(x) , how would you write 4/7tan(x)

Since tanx = sinx / cosx that means that the inverse of tan must = the inverse of sinx / cosx which is cosx / sinx . So we know that 1/tanx = cosx . Now all we have to do is apply the multiple 4/7 because 4/7 * 1/tanx = 4/7tanx

Prove that (4x–5)^2 – 5x(3x – 8) is positive for all values of x.

what is x+24=15

Show the curve y = 4x^2 + 5x + 3 and the line y = x + 2 have exactly one point of intersection

Solve the simultaneous equations: 5x + y =21 and x - 3y = 9.
