Mitosis is the replication of a cells chromosomes so that two daughter cells can be produced with the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell.Meiosis has two processes, Meiosis 1 which is almost identical to Mitosis, and Meiosis 2 which divides a cell into 2 daughter cells with half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell.
(Will demonstrate both processes with diagrams)
