How do I write a paragraph for an essay.

The most common way to write a paragraph for A-Level and GCSE is to use PEER or PEAR paragraph technique. For myself, I prefer to use the PEAR paragraph. PEAR stands for Point, Evidence, Analysis, Response. For Point, you state your argument, Evidence you usually would use a quote, Analysis you should analyse the quote and the language used and why that quote/ word choice backs up your Point, and lastly Response refers to your interpretation of the quote and the point, this is usually involved in the back part of analysis but your response doesn't have to agree with your point, as long as you give a reason for that.
