When should I use the subjunctive?

Of course, there are thousands of phrases and situations in which the subjunctive becomes necessary in French. Therefore, the best way to remember when to use it is with the mnemonic WEDDINGS:

W: Wish / Will E: Emotion D: Doubt D: Desire I: Interrogatives N: Negatives G: General statements S: Superlatives
